An ultra chic and highly coveted John Galliano novelty newspaper print silk bias-cut slip dress dating back to his 2006 spring-summer runway collection. Galliano first introduced the newspaper motif when he was creative director at Christian Dior. He perceived the idea of the print from a 1935 Elsa Schiaparelli dress. Sarah Jessica Parker, Carrie Bradshaw, made it even more famous by wearing the print in an episode of Sex and the City. John Galliano is widely considered one of the most innovative and influential fashion designers of the early twenty-first century. It is easy to see why when you look at this epic slip dress. The fabric itself is a masterpiece; butter soft ivory white silk with novelty newspaper headlines featuring portraits of John Galliano himself! I especially love the adjustable shoulder straps. The bias-cut silhouette emphasizes a woman's seductive shape without adding any bulk or volume to the actual hips. This is the dress you will reach for anytime you want to be noticed.

Measurements
Marked a EU 36
(varies a bit due to bias cut)
Bust: 30-34 inches
Waist: 22-26 inches
Hips: best up to 37 inches
Total Length: 44 inches

This 2006 John Galliano dress is in beautiful condition with no rips, holes or alternations. Garment slips on in a true bias cut style with no additional. After close inspection we found one super tiny spot by the front bodice which is not noticeable when worn. A rare wearable piece of fashion history.

A must read for every black person
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
I thought the book was very powerful and in depth! I wanted the biggest version of the book! Nevertheless I found this book very in depth and informative! We must learn from our forefathers and understand or try to imagine what they went through! We can do this today now in 2024! We must unite and teach our children this rich history of us building and supporting each other as black peoples!

The sadness of the massacre
Format: Paperback
I am not sure how I came across this book but am glad I did. This is one reason why we should never try to erase our history whether good or bad. Sadly, I feel the hate still lingers amongst people but I will never forget when Dr Martin Luther King was assasinated. I was just 19 and my heart sank to lose such a good leader. This book opened my eyes to look and support our leaders whether white or black. Skin color does not define who we are
