It is recommended for use on chronic and acute wounds as a primary dressing due to its versatile nature. The bandage can be applied on moderately to highly exuding wounds that present a risk of infection or a pre-existing state of contamination. AQUACEL® Ag+ Extra™ dressing is comprised of 2 layers of Hydrofiber™ Technology stitch bonded together making it 9x stronger and 50% more absorbent than standard AQUACEL® Ag dressing.
