Very rare Mid Century Modern Rosewood Dresser by H.W. Vallieres of Nicolet, Quebec, Canada, c. 1960’s.  Reminiscent of Raymond Loewy’s designs, this armoire features rosewood casing with molded plastic drawer fronts and ebonized legs with chrome trim. The left side showcases seven molded plastic cream lacquer drawers with recessed oval fronts and chrome pulls. The contrasting rosewood cabinet door opens to reveal adjustable shelving, providing versatile storage. The cabinet is elevated on elegant black tapered legs that give the piece a light, floating appearance while maintaining the warm richness of the rosewood. Condition is very good vintage with minor wear consistent with age and use. The drawers glide smoothly and the cabinet interior is clean and ready for use.
