Plants do not spread via runners, and are very well behaved as border plants and in marginal areas of the garden. Highly recommended. Dehydrated fruits are divine.
Seedlings are tiny, it's best to sow the seeds in flats and let the plants size up until the leaves are 1-2 inches in diameter before planting into the garden. Do not direct sow into the garden, they will very likely be lost in the sauce.
