Also known as the Dracaena Massangeana or Dracaena fragrans, nationwide customers can have the large size Mass Cane plant delivered to their homes as Pafe Plants ships nationwide, free of charge! Why not? It’s strikingly gorgeous. Other names for this lush beauty are striped dracaena or corn plant because of its appearance. It gives off palm tree vibes and brings the tropics indoors. The Mass Cane is native to the tropics of Africa, where it can grow over 50 feet, unlike it’s houseplant counterpart. Now you can see what it’ll look like in your home with our new AR feature. Just point your phone’s camera on our website and click. Large houseplants you order for delivery also come in green-friendly packaging, just like their cargo. Pafe Plants has got your back.

Mass Cane Benefits

Reports have shown that the Mass Cane has improved concentration in focus in rooms it’s placed in. It can also remove air toxins from the environment around it. Some toxins include lead, formaldehyde, benzene, and carbon dioxide to name a few.

Corn Plant

Dracaena fragrans has a couple of nicknames that are related to its appearance. The ‘Mass Cane’ and ‘Corn Plant’ nicknames both refer to the plants' treelike ‘canes’or branches that point straight up, like a corn stalk. The glossy leaves also contribute to the nicknames because of their bright colors. With yellow and lime green hues outlined by emerald green lines on the outside of the leaf, they tend to look like ears of corn before they are shucked.

Resilient

Thinking about gifting your friend with a new plant? The Mass Cane is a great choice for any plant owner, new or veteran. For those forgetful folks, if you don’t water it a couple of times, it probably won’t notice. The Cane is also pretty agreeable in terms of lighting, as it can adjust to most levels of light pretty easily.

It’s a Dragon!

Our Mass Cane has a name as grand as the fiery night sky. The word ‘Dracaena’ means ‘female dragon’ and originates from ancient Greece. When considering the Cane’s majestic appearance, the name makes sense. The leaves are long and sharp, like swords, and the hardy, tree-like trunks look like dragon scales with scattered shades of cream, brown, and forest green.

Best book for beginners to learn safe practices in single pitch climbing
Format: Paperback
Great book for beginner climbers, especially those who want to set up top ropes. Goes over anchor setup, knots, gear placement, belaying, rappelling, etc. Lots of good photos. Very easy to read, don’t be put off by the description as a “manual”, and worth reading to learn how to do things safely. It’s definitely not just for those who want to guide or take AMGA courses. If you are debating getting this book or “Top roping” by the same author, get this one, as it contains 100% of the content in the other book (much of the exact same text and photos) and more, and is just as easy to read. In fact, this has a ton of overlap (and many of the same photos) with “Climbing Anchors” which the author co-authored, but is more accessible and spans a wider range of content. If you are the “leader” of your beginner climbing friends or even if you have some experience but want to take a beginner climbing outside, this is a must read.

Perfect reference guide
Format: Paperback
I bought this book to supplement my lessons with an AMGA guide to learn how to set up toprope climbs. I used it many times to practice and reinforce everything I learned. It is really well written and my favorite book in terms of the knowledge contained within. As common sense would dictate this is not a book to teach your how to toprope...it is a reference to what you have learned?

Essential To Read Before the Class
Format: Paperback
This book provides a good overview of what you'll need to know for your AMGA Single Pitch Instructor (SPI) course and assessment. If you plan to take that course this book is a no-brainer. You just have to buy it and read it. There are a few shortcomings: * The photos of how to tie the knots skip a lot and it is impossible to learn the knots from the book. * The photos of what not to do should be clearly labeled with a red cross bar or WRONG overlay on the photo. If you flip causally through the book and look at the photos some very wrong stuff is there and you have to read the text to know that it is not recommended. * The religious debate on anchor systems rages on. Should you set up a Joshua Tree System with Tether or a Backside System? I realize the AMGA doesn't want to pick sides and will say either is acceptable, but the book doesn't even try to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of various anchor systems.
