C. denticulata grow 4 inches tall and 12 inches wide at maturity and have winter blooming, bee pollinated flowers that range in color from yellow, orange, to white. Cheiridopsis denticulata are winter growing plants that require very little water during the summer months. C. denticulata are hardy to zones 9b to 11.

Sow the Cheiridopsis denticulata seeds on the surface of a well draining potting mix and sprinkle just enough soil over the seeds to cover them. Keep the soil moist, but not soaking wet, and keep between 70°F and 80°F for best results. Germination typically takes 1 to 3 weeks to occur.
